Who We Are
Carp Construction Limited is a family-run
construction company established in 2019, bringing together over 45 years of industry experience
across Surrey and South West London. We deliver high-quality residential and commercial projects, specialising in new builds, renovations, and joinery, with a focus on craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
The company is led by Mark Norman, Director, whose career in construction began at an early age, spending time on building sites alongside his grandfather, Kenneth, and his father, Tony. By the age of 16, Mark was working hands-on in the trade, learning traditional skills and practical problem-solving from the ground up. These early experiences shaped his approach to building, rooted in quality workmanship, integrity, and doing things properly.
Honesty sits at the heart of Carp Construction. Mark is known for giving clear, straightforward advice and for steering clients away from options that may appear attractive in the short term but will not stand up to the test of time. This long-term approach ensures every project is designed and delivered with durability, value, and the client’s best interests firmly in mind.
Our people are one of our greatest strengths. Many members of the team have worked with Mark since leaving college, growing their careers alongside the business. Several long-standing team members have been with Mark for over 20 years, and we are proud to have three team members from the same family, reflecting the loyalty, trust, and close-knit culture that define Carp Construction.
Supporting the business is Debbie Norman, who leads finance and administration, ensuring the company runs smoothly, professionally, and with complete transparency. Together, Mark and Debbie maintain a hands-on, personal approach, giving clients confidence that every project is carefully managed from start to finish.
